For Chelsy Spicer, New Mexico is more than a place—it is a lens through which she experiences the world. Since making the Land of Enchantment her home more than a decade ago, she has found endless inspiration in its vast skies, weathered textures, resilient landscapes, and quiet beauty.
Working on found and natural materials—including horseshoes, bone, wood, and other objects shaped by time and use—Chelsy transforms the overlooked into something extraordinary. Her work is an exploration of renewal, honoring the stories embedded within each surface while inviting viewers to see familiar materials through a new perspective.
